Come on down to Blackpool Town Center for this years Blackpool Christmas Lights Switch On, taking place in St John’s on Saturday 19th November. The fun gets underway from 2pm with a host of entertainment including street entertainers, local artists and community groups, with the Christmas lights being switched on at around 4.30pm. You could also be in with a chance to meet our soon to be announced celebrity for what promises to be a day of live entertainment, and fun for all the family.
In addition to all of the festive fun on stage, St John’s will also feature a traditional Christmas tree accompanied by the town’s Xmas lights. Blackpool town center will be transformed into a winter wonderland of sparkling lights as the Town welcomes shoppers to the festivities as streets are lit with brilliant Chandeliers and icicles creating a marvelous atmosphere of excitement and wonder.
Blackpool is the place to be this Christmas! Why not make a day of it and shop till you drop at the fantastic Houndshill Shopping Centre which is open daily from 9am-5.30pm with late night shopping on Thursdays from November and also the week leading up to Christmas.
