Pattaya: A Dream City – Places to Visit

The coastal city of Pattaya is a real dream city for tourists. It offers a mix of contemporary and traditional, cultural Thai attractions. Pattaya will give you an Asian experience you will not forget.

Sanctuary of Truth (Prasat Satchatham)

The Sanctuary of Truth  is a huge building made of wood. Embellishing the building are beautiful carvings that feature Thai ingenuity and skill. When you visit The Sanctuary of Truth, you might get a better understanding of ancient life, the cycle of living, Eastern philosophy and more. It is a place where reflection on one’s being cannot be avoided.

Mini Siam

Take a picture with the Statue of Liberty while in Pattaya. Yes, the Statue of Liberty! Pattaya is big on replicas. Apart from the Statue of Liberty, Mini Siam is home to over a hundred miniature models of historical sites and objects all over the world.

Nong Nooch Tropical Garden

A place of botanical beauty and splendor, the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden sits on 500 acres of land. Visit the orchid nursery and take in the beauty of Thailand’s national flower. There’s an elephant show, Thai cultural performances as well as a mini zoo.

Underwater World

This marine aquarium showcases Thailand’s 200 plus species of underwater life. You can take a “voyage to the bottom of the sea” where you will see different types of corals and sea animals. Work your way to the 100-meter tunnel featuring acrylic windows. This allows you to see shoals of fish, a few ocean predators and other creatures found in this part of Asia.

Pattaya Floating Market

In Pattaya you will find the largest floating market in the world. Islands of many sizes are scattered all over the area. Thai style houses made of teakwood are linked by wooden bridges. Ride a paddle boat and have a meal while taking in the sites or buy a few traditional Thai items from vendors.

Pattaya Crocodile Farm

The Pattaya Crocodile Farm is the place where you can feed crocodiles or catch an unbelievable crocodile show. It also has a zoo and natural curiously formed rocks and petrified trees.

Pattaya is a dream city for those who want a truly Asian experience. There are beautiful white sand beaches, traditional tourist activities and attractions plus wildlife that are so close you could almost touch them. Believe it or not, there’s even a Ripley’s Believe it Or Not! Museum in Pattaya. Visit Pattaya and see what this Thai city is all about.

There are many people who are in Thailand and are on Twitter. Why not do a simple people search and talk to them asking about this beautiful country (and Pattaya as a city as well).
